Dead Patriarch’s Dog, 2005, sculpture, 125cm x 66cm x 80cm, steel. In private collection. Dead Patriarch’s Dog is a 1:5 stylized replica of a light tank used by US troops during WWII. It can’t roll, but the turret turns, hatches open and the gun swivels. It is at the same time, an appealing abstract form and one of the guard dogs that enabled the main world power still ahead today, to assert its dominance at a critical time.
